I'll bet you guys thought I'd never get to these commissions, lolz. Well, when I say I'm going to do something for you, I really WILL do it...eventually. RL concerns, of course, come first, but I will do my very best to get stuff done as quickly as possible.

Currently, half of my list is complete or in progress. The other half I hope to have complete by this time next week (or at least before the end of November when the Xmas shopping season officially starts; I work in retail and don't want to get caught up at work right in the middle of my list).

Ha ha...I should've mentioned this before, but my commission list is officially CLOSED until further notice. My summer hasn't been as fancy-free as I'd originally anticipated (stupid...work...*grumble grumble*) so it's been REALLY tough finding the time to sit down and churn out artwork (even my group submissions have been decreasing, if that tells you anything). Since I'm not getting paid for my generosity, fanart's got to take a backseat to RL concerns (ie, car payments, credit card payments, etc.). That's the way of the world, folks, and I don't like it anymore than you do.

Before anyone asks, I don't currently know of any long span of free time coming up in the near future, so I can't give out an anticipated date/month/year for reopening the list. I'm going to leave this one at a "we'll see"

Those of you who made it onto the list before it closed, rest assured that your requests WILL be fulfilled sooner or later (my goal is to finish them ALL before 2010). Until then, accept my profoundest apologies for my procrastination. I SWEAR I can't help it.

Well, guys, there won't be any updates this week 'cuz I'm going to be out-of-town ^^ (In my BRAND NEW CAR, I might add. YAY!) I'll still be around to manage groups 'n whatnot, but travel = no scanner = no new updates for this profile. However, there is good news...I saved a bunch of money by switching my car insurance to Progressive (NOT, it was Geico ^^ The spokeslady for Progressive annoys the HELL out of me...ugh. Die, Flo, DIE! >< )

No, seriously, I hope to catch up on some of my commission work. Between the two jobs I took on last month, I just haven't had the time to sit down and do much fandom-wise lately (I didn't even get to finish my GhVi Week entries ;_; I'm so disappointed in myself...). Thus, I'm going to have to close my list again. I don't know for how long this time, but we'll see...

Nobody's getting bumped off the current list, however, so rest assured; if you've already got your request on there, it'll STAY there until I've completed it. You still might have to wait awhile (two jobs = SUPER busy; Until the Saturday before last (July 18th), I hadn't even had a single day off since June 22nd), but I'll get them done.

That said, anybody who REALLY wants to be added to my commission list has exactly ONE WEEK to send me a note/comment to that effect. Tell me what you want me to do and then sit back and wait. The deadline is July 31st, 2009. After that, no more requests for awhile. (**NOTE: My previous rule about having no more than two requests per comissionee still applies; if I've already promised you two commissions, you can't ask for another right now.)

RE-Open for Business!

As promised, my commission list is officially open once more! I do NOT charge for requests (goes against my personal policy), so feel free to ask for just about anything ^^ Send me your request(s) via note/comment/e-mail and, assuming I can do it, I'll add it to the list below.

Just a few ground rules:

A. So sorry, but I only use traditional mediums (marker, mainly, but I also use crayon, oil pastel, pencil, ebony and watercolor. I also dabble in chalks/regular pastels and charcoal. Anything other than marker you'll have to request specifically.)If you want CG art, you're going to have to request it from someone else. Sorry!

B. I'm currently taking ONLY fanart commissions. I used to do fanfiction, too, but I'm so burned out with writing stuff that I think I'll steer clear of it for awhile. This may change in the near-ish future, but I figure it doesn't really matter much since most people request artwork anyway. Just a heads up.

This rule, I suppose, does not extend to prize fiction requests. If you win a contest on one of my groups, you can use that loophole to squeeze a fic out of me. If you do, though, be prepared to wait even longer than if you'd requested fanart. Even under the best of circumstances, writing takes longer than drawing/coloring.

C. I'm more comfortable with series/books/movies/etc that I'm personally familiar with, but if you give me enough info and/or lead me to examples of the characters you want, I should be able to churn out something acceptable.

D. Feel free to request Original Character art. I have no qualms about drawing OCs, I only ask that you give me an existing example/detailed description to work with.

E. In general, I try to get these commissions done in the order that they were requested. First come, first serve 'n all that. However, if you have a larger idea in mind (ie, a 2+ page comic, for instance) it will naturally take longer to complete. I don't want to make everyone else wait while I'm working on that, so you might see their commissions in my profile before you see yours.

F. Due to the laws of supply and demand, I'm afraid I must put a limit on the amount of requests a person can make of me at one time. You may have TWO ( 2 ) commissions on my list at once, but no more; this is in the best interests of anyone/everyone who asks me for fanart. After all, if I'm in the midst of fulfilling five requests from one person, how quickly can I get to the next requestee in line? In the interest of time and fairness (to myself as well as all of you ), I repeat: ONLY TWO REQUESTS PER PERSON AT ONE TIME!!!

Oh, but no worries; as soon as one of your (two) requests is complete, you can feel free to ask me for your next idea immediately thereafter ^^ Just decide which of your commissions are "MUST SEE NOW!!!" and which are "it can wait" and release them to me in your preferred order over time.

G. Finally (and most importantly), I'd like to take this opportunity to remind you all that I'm no good with deadlines so you might have to wait a bit for the completion of your request. Sometimes I get right on them and churn out five at once, but other times RL gets busy and it takes me weeks/months to get ANYTHING finished. Rest assured that if I take on your commission I WILL get it done, it just might/might not take me awhile, is all. So sorry for the inconvenience
