HEA Here Come the Bridezillas

The beginning of a series of wedding day mishaps for Ranma and Akane. I'm hoping to fit in all of the fiances, the family and maybe even a fight between the bride and groom before I'm done. What an excellent excuse to draw Ranma fanart! Lolz...

Here we have one of my favorite series ever: Ranma 1/2. On my list of favorites, only DBZ surpasses it. I re-read it at least once a year, the characters are memorable and familiar and my only regret is that I don't do much fanart for it. I'm using HEA Week as an opportunity to fill up my gallery with RanmaAkane loveliness

Anyway, those of you familiar with the series will know what's going on right off the bat. On his second wedding day with Akane (long story, don't ask), Ranma finds himself caught in a Bridezilla fight between two of his more...motivated "fiancees," Shampoo (the Chinese Amazon) and Ukyo (a childhood friend that he used to think was a boy).

Here's what they're saying:

Ukyo: Get yer stinkin' hands offa my Ranchan, you Chinese hussy!

Shampoo: Is my Airen, crazy girl! *indecipherable Chinese curse*

Akane: Ranma! Would you stop dawdling?! The ceremony was supposed to start over twenty minutes ago and your stupid father is eating the buffet!

Ranma: ...
