You're One To Talk

Done in crayon, oil pastel and permanent marker (fine and ultrafine point).

I seem to be on a Ranma 1/2/Dragonball crossover binge, don't I? Well, that's okay; it's so much fun to pair these two girls up ^^

Anyway, right about the time I finished outlining Gohan, I realized I should've drawn him in his Saiyaman costume instead -_-; I'm so disappointed in myself...le sigh. Oh, well, the Super Saiyan/half-alien thing is still pretty odd, right?

For those of you not familiar with one (or both) of these series, please see below for an explanation:

Gohan (the boy in the purple on the left) is half-Saiyan (which is a warrior alien race that was destroyed by a space tyrant many, many years before the start of DBZ), which means that he was born with a tail. This tail, when combined with the light from a full moon, turns a Saiyan/half-Saiyan into a gigantic were-ape that goes on violent rampages. Additionally, Saiyans/half-Saiyans have the ability to turn "Super Saiyan," which basically means they get a HUGE power boost and a blond hair/green eye look for awhile. In this pic, Gohan is SSJ Level 2, which means he also gives off blue-ish lightning, hehe.

Ranma (the girl on the right with the red hair) is actually a boy. No, he's not dressed up and, no, he didn't get a special type operation, he just fell in a magic pool of water. On a training trip to China with his father, Ranma ended up at Jusenkyo, which is a legendary training ground comprised of small springs with bamboo poles sticking out of them. Each one of these springs has its own curse and whosoever should fall into one will take the form of whatever tragically drowned there last (Ranma, obviously, fell into the "Spring of Drowned Girl" on his visit. Other characters in the series turn into pandas, pigs, cats, yeti/ox/eel/crane combos, etc). Luckily, being doused in hot water turns Ranma back into a boy. If he gets splashed with cold water, though, he returns to his cursed girl form. And so the series goes...
